We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Government Relations and Admin Manager with at least 7 years of experience to join our team. This key role is responsible for managing relationships with government agencies, ensuring compliance with regulations, and overseeing day-to-day administrative functions to support organizational goals. The ideal candidate will have proven expertise in navigating government processes, strong leadership skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving and process optimization.

Key Responsibilities:

 

Government Relations:

  • Develop and maintain strong working relationships with government officials, agencies, and regulatory bodies.
  • Monitor and interpret changes in government policies, regulations, and industry standards that affect the organization.
  • Represent the company in government-related meetings, events, and forums.
  • Coordinate and prepare reports, briefings, and presentations for internal stakeholders regarding government affairs.
  • Advise management on governmental issues, potential risks, and opportunities related to public policy.
  • Ensure the company complies with relevant laws, regulations, and government requirements.
  • Advocate for the company’s interests and seek to influence public policy in alignment with business goals.

Administrative Management:

  • Oversee general administrative functions, ensuring smooth and efficient office operations.
  • Manage the administrative team and provide leadership, training, and support as needed.
  • Develop and implement administrative procedures to improve efficiency and streamline processes.
  • Coordinate office supplies, equipment, and vendor relationships, ensuring cost-effective management.
  • Handle scheduling and organization of meetings, conferences, and events.
  • Supervise office maintenance, safety, and security protocols, ensuring a comfortable and productive work environment.
  • Manage company documentation and ensure all records are filed accurately and in compliance with legal requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including HR, Finance, and Legal, to ensure alignment between government affairs and organizational operations.
  • Provide strategic input in business planning, ensuring that all administrative and government affairs aspects are aligned with business objectives.
  • Lead and manage projects related to government relations and administrative processes.
  • Review and draft communication materials, including letters, reports, and public statements.
  • Manage budgets related to government relations activities and administrative functions.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Public Administration, Business Management, or a related field. A Master’s degree is a plus.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in government relations and administration, with at least 3 years in a managerial role.
  • In-depth knowledge of government structures, processes, and regulations.
  • Strong understanding of corporate governance and compliance standards.
  • Proven experience in managing administrative teams and streamlining office operations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with government officials, business leaders, and cross-functional teams
